One of the hardest decisions for a school Drama group to make is simply this: Which play?
The choice must be entertaining. The text must be clear and relevant. The set must be practical. The play must have parts for a specific number of actors, male and female. The show must not go on endlessly all night. And so on.
And, occasionally, it would be nice to get away from the school musical and tackle a classic.
The Unauthorised Classics Series solves some of these problems.
Doctor Mal Gray Louis is a restructuring of Moliere’s Le Medecin Malgre Lui in the style of the Italian Commedia dell’Arte.
There were no scripts in the Commedia. It was improvised theatre. It consisted of a number of stock characters, and each actor would play the one character throughout his or her career. All Commedia performers would carry comic monologues, double act routines, punch lines and bits of comic business in their heads and improvise their use when on stage. Running gags and topical allusions were a staple diet of the Commedia. The stories acted out were all variations on a theme: a rich miser wants to marry his beautiful daughter to a wealthy nobleman. The nobleman is ugly and conceited, and the girl is in love with someone else. Servants are employed to carry messages between all the parties involved. They lose the messages, fall in love with the young lovers themselves and generally cause chaos!
The Commedia was a comic, boisterous and irreverent form of theatre. So is Doctor Mal Gray Louis.

It’s a super good product! Compact but mighty!

Don’t let the size of this fan fool you! It is powerful, great for a hot summer day, or if your car has no ac, it’s not only a fan it is a flashlight which is very bright, and the topper of all is it’s a phone charger!! For such a small item but packs quite the punch . It is small enough to fit in your purse, pocket or backpack! But don’t let the size fool you!

Perfect for Summer
Color: Pink
I ordered this portable fan for a trip to the Caribbean and it was perfect. It definitely kept me cool during the heat. It's small and lightweight and it has various settings for different levels of flow. It doesn't oscillate but that's fine with me. I've brought it with me on multiple trips so I'd say it's reliable and it has great power too. The blush pink color is so cute and feminine I love it!

Good product with an unexpected flaw

I like this fan. It's compact, easy to use, inexpensive, and kind of cute. The fan is decent. Not insanely strong, not too weak. It's good for its price.
But am I the only one who thought the wrist strap was absurdly difficult to pass through the second hole??? It was honestly incredibly frustrating. I tried for five minutes without any tools, and it was impossible due to the combination of the shape and depth of the hollow side of the fan case and the short length of the thin loop on the wrist strap. Perhaps a dexterous child with smaller fingers could do it better. I eventually used a long piece of thread to loop and pull the thin loop back through the second hole. Maybe a paper clip bent into a small hook may work also. I took off 1 whole star for this frustration and struggle.

Very glad I packed this for travel and commuting

I bought this mainly for travel and commuting because I tend to run warm on delayed flights, crowded buses, and long travel days. I honestly thought this might end up being one of those “just in case” gadgets that sits in my bag unused, but it has actually stayed in my commuter backpack ever since I bought it.
I used it recently during a flight that sat on the tarmac longer than expected before takeoff, and later again on a crowded, stuffy bus ride home. It made a noticeable difference and was easy to pull out quickly without taking up much room in my tote bag.
The airflow is stronger than I expected for the size, and I like that it has two settings depending on how much airflow you want. It’s also fairly quiet, which I appreciated while traveling around other people.
Battery life has been solid so far and it charges easily. I also like that it has a small flashlight built in, which is surprisingly handy while traveling and makes it feel a little more useful as an all-in-one item to keep in a commuter or travel bag.
Obviously it’s not air conditioning, but for travel, commuting, hotel rooms, or just keeping in your bag during warmer months, I’ve found it genuinely useful and have already used it more than I expected.

Perfect Wind Speeds, Size, Weight, and Price Here on Amazon Prime

My wife uses this little fan when she experiences one of her occasional hot flashes. And she said it works well for these times. She also uses it when we are at an outdoor market or park when the temperature rises along with the humidity thus providing a little respite from the these conditions.
She likes the size, weight, the included lanyard, and the fact that it is so quite when in use. A full charge seems to last for a two to three hours depending on the selected speed of the fan itself.
There are other more powerful portable handheld fans available, however, this one seems to be the perfect compromise between air speeds, size, weight, and price.
