Because this is a replica of the RPKS 74 as introduced in 1974, this lacks the dovetail for optics

Equipped with a longer/heavier barrel, longer magazine, a unique stock as well as a bipod, the RPK also played host to the same manual of operation to the AK, allowing for easy familiarity for all members of the squad.

Because this is a replica of the RPKS-74 as introduced in 1974, this lacks the dovetail for optics mounting solutions. A railed dustcover or handhuard is required to mount optics to this replica.
